Samsung UN55D7000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D LED HDTV (Silver)

Samsung UN55D7000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D LED HDTV The Samsung’s new 3D Active Glasses are the gateway to Samsung 3D entertainment. Impressive both in how they function and in what they allow you to experience, the technology works as follows: When you put them on and look at the screen, the technology first blocks the left and then the right lens. It happens faster than the blink of an eye – so your eye won’t notice it. But when images are shown to each eye separately this “staggered” effect achieves far more lifelike 3D images.
Samsung's D7000 LED HDTV series offers Full HD picture quality and entertainment possibilities galore, with Samsung Apps Internet TV content, network or USB access to your media files, and a wealth of technologies to make it all look great. Pair it with an ultra-thing bezel and sleek, stylish design, and you've got a totally immersive way to experience TV. >>View All

This TV replaced an aging Samsung 52" 650 series...a fine TV in it's day. Well the D7000 blows it out of the water. The LED backlighting really brings the picture to life. I'm confident that this set is among the best of 2011, both in performance and aesthetics. Definitely one of its coolest features is its internet connectivity. Like many other brands you can browse through apps (Facebook, Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, etc.) but this is the first to have a full web browser...and assuming you have a solid internet provider, it's fast too! The only unfortunate thing about it right now is that you have to wait 10-12 weeks before you receive the full Qwerty remote, so you'll be browsing with unimaginable inefficiency (you're using the numeric keypad to enter web addresses)!

So far the only minor issue I have found is that sometimes there is obvious "bleeding" coming from the edges/corners when the screen is black. It doesn't seem to happen during movies, only during the transition phases, like when programs are loading or you're scrolling through sources. I have not tried the 3D yet so I can't comment on its quality.

In summary, a ridiculous amount of technology in a small and beautiful package; a near perfect TV.

>> Buy Now From Amazon.com <<

I purchased this TV to replace my old 42" Vizio LCD i bought about 6 years ago. I did a lot of research online and decided it was either a sony or a samsung based off recommendations from friends and online. I went to my local electronics store to see some of the TVs in action. While there I saw last years model of this TV. While very nice i have an all black metal stand for my tv, so i though the thick silver bezel would stand out. I talked to an associate and they told me about the new 2011 model. Once i saw it i knew it was the TV i wanted. I did some shopping around and found Amazon had the best price overall. i was a bit skeptical about making such a large purchase and ordering online.
I have heard some complaints about the companies used to ship the TVs. I have to say i had a good experience. The delivery was made in the first hour of my delivery appointment window. The box of the tv was a little damaged in the bottom corner but nothing to worry about.my TV was brought inside and I inspected it and wow is this thing a work of art. even the delivery guys were impressed, they hadn't seen the new model yet. The tv was a little cold from being stored in the warehouse and on the truck so i assembled everything and hooked up all my extras (home theater, xbox 360, ps3, cable box etc) but i didn't plug the power in for about 2 hours to let the TV warm up and avoid damage to it. Once i turned it on i was greeted with an easy and simple to follow setup of the tv and wireless network.
I have read one poor review of this tv stating the led backlight was visible fromt the edges and i have to disagree. i cannot see the backlight source at all. this is by far the best looking tv on the market. I do however wish it had full array led backlighting rather than the dynamic edge.
my only complaint (if you can even call it that) is the remote. it is a bit chunky because of the full qwerty on the back and i havent been able to get the qwerty side to sync with my tv yet it keeps saying failure.. i would have liked to see the touch screen remote that was included with the 9000 series before. however on the grand scale this is minor. I have only had this tv for a short time but i would highly recommend this tv if it is in your budget.
With beautiful picture, 3D, plenty of HDMI slots, USB, WIFI and the samsung SmartTV this is a great option for someone in the market for a high end LED-LCD

Buyer Reviews

Sharp picture, quality build, with iPod. SD card, and PC inputs,
I bought three new 32-inch LCD TVs in a single week, and returned the first two because of faulty video inputs. The third TV I bought is that this high-high quality, Panasonic TC-L32X2 TV, which was simply launched in February 2010. My experience enabled me to compare three comparable TVs, giving me good insight to write this review.

I initially bought two other 32-inch LCD TVs; a Vizio VO320E and a Sony BRAVIA BX 300 Series (model KDL-32BX300). I returned each of them due to an identical video enter problems. I connected two totally different manufacturers of DVD gamers to every TV, and once I played DVDs, there have been alternating horizontal stripes of discoloration on the display, indicating an issue with the video inputs on the TVs. I returned each TVs to the retailer as a result of both of those DVD gamers worked completely on two other TVs in my home, together with a one-yr-old Panasonic plasma.

Then I bought the Panasonic TC-L32X2 TV listed here. After the preliminary setup, the very first thing I examined was the video output from a DVD player, and was relieved to find that the video was crisp and clear, with no stripes of discoloration like on the other two TVs. Then I flipped by way of the channels from a direct cable TV enter (no cable box), and the TV output was glorious as properly, and undoubtedly higher than the other two TVs that I needed to return. Additionally, the construct of the TV was noticeably of higher quality than the opposite two TVs. The distant has plenty of options, and is not cheap (like those that got here with other two TVs).

This Panasonic TC-L32X2 TV comes with one cable TV enter, one set of element video inputs (red/blue/green video and pink/white audio), two units of composite video inputs (purple/white/yellow), three HDMI inputs, a PC enter, an iPod dock with connector cable and rear input, an SD camera card input, and a Dolby digital audio output.

In love,
I absolutely love this televison. At such a low worth I didn't count on too much but it surely arrived within only two days (that is with the free transport too!) and was amazing! The only complaints I have are that the bottom collects dust very simply, and also when assembling be sure you have a really lengthy skinny screwdriver or else it will be fairly a battle putting this thing together. Apart from that, I really like this television and arrange was a breeze!

I adore it!,
This Panasonic TV has a great, clear picture. The 720p is perfectly fantastic for a 32 inch. I checked out plenty of TVs earlier than I purchased this one. It was very straightforward to arrange & the value was right!
